Snorkel in the clear waters of the Silfra Fissure and walk inside the mysterious lava tubes
The Silfra fissure is the only place in the world where you can snorkel between the North American and Eurasian continental plates. Filtered through the lava rock walls the water is not only drinkable but crystal clear giving it the exceptional visibility that Silfra is famous for. After some snacks we continue our journey towards the Blue Mountains where you will be guided through one of Iceland's many lava tube caves using high quality caving gear and lights. The caves in this area are filled with unique colorful lava rock formations but at the same time dark and quiet places mystified by the Icelandic sagas and folklore that tell about the outlaws and elf's that once dwelt there.
